Welcome to Myotherapy Plus, my name is Jo Antoniou. I am passionate about aiding efficiency in your movement and allow you to access your full physical potential and alleviate aches and pains. My aim is to work with you to help improve physical health and wellbeing via assessment, treatment and management of musculoskeletal conditions, which may cause muscular dysfunction and pain thus affecting movement and mobility. As a Myotherapist I am able to utilise a range of treatment techniques to restore and maintain the normal integrity of the soft tissue structures.
I have been trained by some of the best within the musculoskeletal industry and take great pride in my delivery to assist you. I have undertaken additional training and utilise the JEMS (Joanne Elphingston Method) and have undertaken Clinical Pilates training, just to name a few.
I have a keen interest in working with anyone that has that niggling pain, amateur athletes and dancers. I will work towards assisting them in maintaining full physical health alongside other allied health professionals and modalities.
A highlight in my professional career is that I have assisted Melbourne City FC in the 2016/17 season as a massage therapist and Tennis Australia as a student therapist 2012.
Myotherapy treatments are personalised to your needs.
